... and all other religions saying the same.

“If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be a vegetarian.” Paul McCartney.

“Not responding is a response--we are equally responsible for what we don't do. In the case of animal slaughter, to throw your hands in the air is to wrap your fingers around a knife handle.”
― Jonathan Safran Foer, Eating Animals

Photo of Molly running for her life

In January 2006, Molly leapt a 5-foot-5-inch slaughterhouse gate at Mickey's Packing Plant in Great Falls, raced through town with police and animal control on her heels, ran in front of a train, swam across the Missouri River and took three tranquilizer darts before finally being recaptured six hours later. She was spared from slaughter and dubbed the Unsinkable Molly B.

If you are upset by this picture, imagine all the pictures you don't see. These animals need help!! Laws must be put in place to protect these defenseless creatures. There is NO hope for a civilized society without animal cruelty laws and the animals have no hope without everyone's help. Everyone in this sociopathic culture must be held accountable for their actions. If we don't start punishing these people, they will continue their barbaric treatment of animals. This animal’s face says it all...Pain, terror, wondering what she did to deserve this? Anyone who condones this or sees it without doing something is equally as guilty and deserves to suffer the same fate. Why go to Hell? It seems all the Devils are right here on Earth.

The killing of millions of homeless animals in shelters is in direct conflict with the values of a morally advanced society, a society that in the XXIst century can no longer ignore that animals are intelligent beings with the capacity to feel and experience fear, pain, loneliness, in fact a broad spectrum of emotions and, therefore, individuals worthy of respect, protection and the right to their own lives

"Animals do not 'give' their life to us, as the sugar-coated lie would have it. They struggle and fight to the last breath, just as we would do if we were in their place.”

-John Robbins

"Even in the worm that crawls in the earth there glows a divine spark. When you slaughter a creature, you slaughter God."--Isaac Bashevis Singer
